PPGCEM Selection Process – Basic Information
The PPGCEM selection process consists of two phases, conducted by an Evaluation Committee:
- First Phase: Written Research Proposal evaluation (qualifying, 50% weight). Candidates must indicate potential advisors.
- Second Phase: Defense of the Research Proposal before the Committee (eliminatory and qualifying, 50% weight). The defense lasts up to 15 minutes (10 min for presentation + 5 min for evaluation). Attendance is mandatory, and delays result in disqualification.
