Leadership:
Lab Surf coordinates Ct-Trib (National Institute of Tribology – INCT Tribologia) and is led by Profa. Dra. Henara Lillian Costa Murray (Lattes) and Prof. Dr. José Henrique Alano (Lattes).
Mission:
With a transversal and multidisciplinary team, Lab Surf focuses on developing and evaluating coatings and surface modifications to:
- Enhance material performance against Tribology and Corrosion;
- Investigate surface phenomena in mechanical manufacturing processes;
- Deliver innovative solutions aligned with SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption).
