New Policy Brief #22 “The Israel-Hezbollah conflict: A Gray Rhino impacting the oil industry” by Izan Araujo.

New Policy Brief #22 LabGRIMA-IIGS-CENEGRI available!

“How can oil companies resiliently face the impacts of the Israeli-Hezbollah conflict on their operations while ensuring stability in energy supply? The recent conflict between Israel and Hezbollah on August 25 in southern Lebanon highlighted the importance of geopolitical risk, which is often underestimated. This type of risk is described as a “gray rhino”, Michele Wucker’s concept. Organizations must adopt resilient strategies to mitigate the impacts of the Israel-Hezbollah conflict, as it compromises operational security, disrupts the supply chain, especially in the energy sector, and intensifies volatility in the global oil market.”
