Analyzes the transformations that have occurred in the world of work in contemporary society, including: processes of productive restructuring, the flexibilization of labor relations, self-managed work, and organizational changes. It addresses issues affecting both the objective and subjective dimensions of workers’ lives, whether regarding their professional sphere of action and collective organization, or their everyday lives. This involves examining class-based, group-based, and sectoral forms of worker organization, as well as their living conditions, forms of resistance, and cultural and identity configurations. It also examines the emergence of new economic practices and corporate discourses that introduce novel ways for individuals to engage with their careers and with income-generating activities. Furthermore, it incorporates debates on power relations within organizations, the company as a social space in terms of work and organization, and the various social worlds that exist within a company.
