Admission Masters Program – 2025
The Graduate Program in Sociology (PPGS) at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel) will open its applications next Monday, January 13, 2025, for the 2025 Master’s in Sociology selection process.

Who can apply?
The program is open to holders of an undergraduate degree, whether Brazilian or foreign nationals. Candidates expected to graduate by the enrollment date may also apply, provided they submit the required documentation.

Research Proposal Evaluation (Phase 1 – eliminatory and classificatory):

Result: February 17, 2025 (after 6:00 p.m.). -
Heteroidentification Committee (for affirmative action):
📅 Date: February 19, 2025. -
Research Proposal Defense (Phase 2 – remote):
📅 Period: February 21 and 22, 2025.
Result: February 22, 2025 (after 8:00 p.m.). -
Lattes CV Evaluation (Phase 3):
📅 Date: February 26, 2025.
Result: February 26, 2025 (after 6:00 p.m.). -
Publication of the Preliminary Final Result:
📅 Date: February 27, 2025 (after 6:00 p.m.). -
Publication of the Final Result:
📅 Date: March 3, 2025.
The final result will be published on March 3, 2025.
