PCI/Minter UFPel/UNIRIO. Master’s Program in Philosophy 2025

The main goal of the MINTER in Ethics and Political Philosophy is to form a cohort of up to 20 researchers at the Master’s level, preferably from Philosophy and Humanities programs at UNIRIO, in Rio de Janeiro. The program will provide a high-quality education based on the standards already established in the PPGFIL-UFPel, for students from Rio de Janeiro interested in exploring issues related to ethics and political philosophy. Additionally, through support for research lines, the program aims to contribute to various academic fields in higher and secondary education, where research on these topics can be applied to teaching in disciplines and courses not directly related to Philosophy.

The course, which will begin in 2025, aims to:

  • Train high-level masters committed to advancing knowledge, especially in research and teaching at the graduate level.
  • Stimulate the production and dissemination of knowledge in Philosophy, Humanities, and scientific and technological education.
  • Contribute to continuous, critical, and reflective thinking on educational processes aimed at training professionals in the Humanities and scientific and technological education.
