Laboratory of Biochemistry and Molecular Neuropharmacology (LABIONEM)

The laboratory is located in building 29 of the Center for Chemical, Pharmaceutical, and Food Sciences (CCQFA) on the Capão do Leão Campus of UFPel. It is coordinated by Professors César Brüning and Cristiani Bortolatto. The research conducted by the group aims to investigate the pharmacological and toxicological effects of synthetic organic compounds in experimental models of depression and anxiety, eating disorders, pain, and neuroinflammation.

This laboratory is equipped with apparatus for behavioral analyses, surgical materials, a pH meter, water bath, centrifuge, analytical balance, spectrophotometer, magnetic stirrer, tube shaker, oven, refrigerator, freezer, fume hood, and enclosed cabinets for the proper storage of reagents.
