Scientific Initiation Co-advising: 02 Credits
Syllabus: In this discipline the doctoral student must guide a student of scientific initiation. This discipline aims to give the doctoral student preliminary experience in advising and training of human resources, as well as to value teamwork. The conclusion of the discipline occurs with the scientific initiation student presenting a work in a congress of the area. The work developed by the scientific initiation student must be related to the theme of the doctoral project.

Oriented Teaching Internship II: 02 credits
Syllabus: In the subject of Oriented Teaching II the doctoral student must teach classes for undergraduate students. The proposal of the oriented teaching must not exceed in 40% the timetable of the discipline in which it will be developed. The activities developed in the classroom by the student must be attended by the advisor or the professor responsible for the discipline.

Syllabus: In the subject of Oriented Teaching III the doctoral student must teach classes for undergraduate students. The proposal of guided teaching must not exceed in 40% the timetable of the discipline in which it will be developed. The activities developed by the student in the classroom must be attended by the advisor or the professor responsible for the discipline.

Teaching Methodology: 02 credits
Syllabus: The aim of the course is to discuss with students the dimensions of the didactic process and its elements in the management of pedagogical work in higher education. Discuss the didactics, methodologies and new technologies of communication and information and their relation with the classroom. Understand the interrelationship between planning and evaluation in the teaching-learning process. Identify aspects concerning the pedagogical relationship in teaching in higher education.

Seminars III: 02 credits
Syllabus: In this course students must participate as listeners of weekly seminars given by UFPel professors and guests from other Institutions. In addition, this course will address topics related to ethics, which will be taught by professionals in the area.

Seminars IV: 02 credits
Syllabus: In this course, students must give seminars. Each student will present at least one seminar that will deal with topics related to their doctoral project with presentation of results related to the project. Each seminar must last from 40 to 50 minutes and its evaluation will be done by an examination board defined by the collegiate of the course.
