[ENG] VI International Congress on Moral and Political Philosophy

The Philosophy Department of UFPel will host the VI International Congress on Moral and Political Philosophy, from June 5 to 7, in the Auditorium of the Law School. The event will feature two lectures, one opening and the other closing, by Professor Emérito John Searle of the Philosophy Postgraduate Program of the University of California (Berkeley). John Searle is a world-renowned analytical philosopher who has contributed to the fields of Philosophy of Language, Philosophy of Mind and Social Philosophy. Other important confirmed lecturers are Giuseppe Lorini (Università degli Studi di Cagliari – Itália), Ricardo Navia (University of the Republic – Uruguai), Ricardo Gouveia (Federal University of São João del-Rei), Sofia Stein (Unisinos) and João Hobuss (Federal University of Pelotas).
