Internationalization Policy

 

With the goal of increasing international insertion, the program established a internationalization committee in 2010, which developed into an internationalization pra for the program. This plan includes a few steps that were considered important for an effective internationalization:

 

1 – Participation in international projects;

2 – Obtainment of exterior funding;

3 – Motivation for students to take part on a partial completion of the graduate program at another university abroad;

4 – Bring foreign professors to the program;

5 – Bring foreign researchers to the program;

6 – Professors participation in examining boards abroad;

7 – Cooperation projects (Ex. CAPES/DAAD, CAPES/COFECUB; Edital Sul-Sul);

8 – Professors performance as reviewers in international scientific journals;

9 – Professors participation in international congresses;

10 – Professors participation in international congresses;

11 – Professors participation as speakers in congresses and events abroad;

12 – Professors participation in the organization of international events; 

13 – Professors participation in the organization of national events;

14 – Professors participation as members of international scientific committees;

15 – Publications in high impact journals in English;

16 – Articles publication with international contributors; 

17 – Motivation for program professors to take part in trainings abroad;

18 – Young talents fixation, specially those with international experience;

19 – International events hosted by the program.
