The second day of the Right to the City Symposium ended with a walk in the center of Pelotas

On the second day of the Symposium, we had an urban vegetable garden workshop, held by Kilombo Urbano Canto de Construção, in which students could learn about the occupation and functioning of the community hour. Kilombo already receives several seedlings from the community and helps fight hunger.

During the afternoon, students from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism walked in the center of Pelotas to make the population aware of the right to the city, in addition to showing the lack of accessibility and hostile architecture to keep homeless people away.

Banners and posters were used to mark these points, we had the presence of the Physically Handicapped Association and the Connection Corner, in addition to the Diário Popular which will make a report on hostile architecture.
