Last Thursday (04/05), the composting and wormcomposting workshop was given by Mikael Alves Schneider and Yan Chaves Pereira de Araújo, from the Hortas Urbanas project. The meeting took place at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism and had two moments: in the theoretical moment, the concepts and importance of composting recycling were presented, how to care for and what to put in a compost bin and how to use and store its products; then, with practical activity, a compost bin of buckets and easily accessible materials was made for implementation at FAURB.
The implementation of the FAURB compost bin aims to raise awareness and encourage students and employees to the habit of recycling and using organic matter.
