What is the role of my advisor professor? Why do I need an advisor professor?
Among other functions, the advisor professor will be responsible for the student during the program. The professor will help the student with bureaucratic procedures, help to prepare a study plan, and the student thesis. The professor will be sure that the student does not go astray during the elaboration of the thesis; will help to make important decisions about the scope and viability (methodological, financial, and temporal) of the study. Finally, the professor will help to save time and effort to reach the end of the program within the stipulated period.
How will my advisor be defined?
Until the end of the first term, each student of the PPGDTSA will be assigned by the Academic and Administrative Committee an advisor seeking to reconcile the student’s interest with the research agenda of each professor.
