Today, March 7, the Symposium on the Right to the City officially began. In the morning, we had the special presence of CUFA (Central Única das Favelas), Prof. doctor Otavio Leonidio Ribeiro, from Prof. doctor Fernando Freitas Fuão and Kilombo Urbano Ocupação Canto de Conecta in a round table, provoking a reflection on the city and society in which we operate. We had moments of speech and emphasis on those who live and face difficulties, such as the speech of the representative of the Physically Handicapped Association, who commented on his daily struggle for accessibility.
