Graduated in Chemistry (Bachelor’s and Degree), Master’s and Doctorate in Analytical Chemistry from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). He developed part of the Ph.D. (Doctoral Sandwich) at the National Research Council Canada (NRCC) in Ottawa/Canada. He has a Post-Doctorate from PUC-Rio (2008) where he worked on the project of Development and validation of methods for determination of metals in biological fluids. She worked as a Researcher with the Department of Chemistry at PUC-Rio in an agreement PUC-Rio / PETROBRAS (2009), in the Development of analysis methodologies for the determination of trace elements in biofuel samples. In 2011, she received the award “For Women in Science (2011) from LOréal Brasil in partnership with the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (ABC) and UNESCO, in the area of ​​Chemical Sciences. She is Associate Professor 2 at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPEL) , Coordinator of the Industrial Chemistry Course and Permanent Professor at the Graduate Program in Chemistry (PPGQ), Member of the National Institute of Advanced Analytical Sciences and Technologies (INCTAA) She has experience in the field of Analytical Chemistry, with an emphasis on Analysis of Trace Elements, Environmental Chemistry and Food Analysis, acting on the following topics: Atomic Spectrometry Techniques; Chemical and photochemical steam generation system; Environmental Sample Analysis and Food Analysis. Currently, it has 64 articles published and 1 accepted in specialized scientific journals and factor H=20.
