Graduated in Chemistry (2000), Lato Sensu specialization (2003) and PhD in Chemistry (2007) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. She did a PhD internship abroad (2005-2006) at McGill University, Montreal, Canada. She was a substitute professor in the Department of Inorganic Chemistry at UFRGS for three semesters (2007-2008). She has experience in the area of Catalysis, where she worked mainly on the following topics: supported catalysts on silica, ethylene polymerization, silsesquioxanes, characterization of supported catalysts. She was a postdoctoral fellow in the field of Oleochemistry, where she worked on the extraction of oil from microalgae and on the synthesis of organic-inorganic hybrid films. She is currently Adjunct Professor IV at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), where she works with surface modification of inorganic solids, immobilization of metallated porphyrins and the synthesis of starch films.
