Behaviour Studies Laboratory

The Laboratory was created within the Department of Architecture and Urbanism of the School of Architecture and Urbanism of UFPel, based on the interest of a group of professors to carry out multidisciplinary research in the field of environmental psychology, architecture, urbanism, sociology and philosophy, with the goal of understanding how people perceive and behave in the city environment. The project ‘Place-Making with Older Adults: Towards Age-Friendly Communities’, funded by the ESRC (Economic and Social Research Council), of the United Kingdom, and coordinated in Brazil by professor Adriana Portella, was the starting point that instigated the creation of the Laboratory at UFPel.
