Model United Nations, also known simply as MUN, are academic events in which participants act as delegates, diplomats or journalists representing countries or organizations within the political landscape, aiming to debate and resolve issues assigned to each committee.
The Pelotas Model United Nations dates back from 2013. It started as an initiative from the students of the Federal University of Pelotas’ International Relations course and has since then exponentially grown as a project to now accommodate college students and political enthusiasts from all the region.

Currently, we include the following committees:
