The Tutorial Education Program (PET) is part of a Federal Government program to stimulate research, teaching and extension activities in undergraduate courses. The program objectives include improving undergraduate education, student academic education, interdisciplinarity, besides the planning and execution of diverse academic activities. Members are granted a scholarship.
The Computer Tutorial Education Program (PET-Computer Sciences) was created in 2009 and includes twelve students from the Computer Science and Computer Engineering courses, under the supervision of a teacher in the area. Members have a maximum term of membership: the undergraduate scholarship holder is allowed to stay until the completion of their degree and the tutor for a period of up to six years.
