The Academic Master’s degree course in Computer Science at PPGC-UFPel offers strict training in the area of Computer Science within one of the research lines of the Program. It has a typical duration of two years and begins in the first semester of each year, with the number of vacancies defined in the public notice of each year.
Upon entering the Master’s degree course in Computer Science, the student, under the supervision of an advisor, will specialize in a subject of Computer Science, according to the chosen research line. During the course, he will accompany subjects relevant to his theme, carry out guided teaching activities, carry out and publish research in the area. Finally, at the end of the course, the student presents a dissertation with the results of his research to be evaluated by the Program.
The Master’s course was created in 2010 and had its first admission in 2011.
