Bachelor and Licentiate in Chemistry from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). Master by the Graduate Program in Chemistry at UFSC (PPGQMC/UFSC), and Doctor by PPGQMC/UFSC with a period of nine months at Yale University. He works in the field of Physical Chemistry, with emphasis on Theoretical and Computational Chemistry and Condensed Matter Physics.
