According to data collected in 2020 by IBGE, about 2.8% of the Brazilian population (5.7 million people) have no access to a bathroom. In the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, some families do not have a home with a bathroom or a simple sink. ‘Obras Wash’, a project promoted by Habitat for Humanity International NGO, aims to bring treated water, proper ventilation, and healthy toilets to vulnerable communities in Brazil. This Friday, 04/06, at 4 pm (Brazil time zone), we will meet some partners of this project, and Habitat for Humanity’s team members who work in Sao Paulo.
See you Friday, don’t forget your coffee!
