  • Prof. Dr. Priscila Lopes Cardozo (priscilacardozo88@gmail.com)

Research Group Impact: Since the early 2000s, LaCOM has been recognized for its research on feedback in motor learning. Initially, its primary research focus was the motivational effects of feedback on motor learning. More recently, with an increasing number of researchers, LaCOM has diversified its investigations, exploring how various socio-cognitive-affective factors influence performance, learning, and motor development across different populations and contexts. These factors include learner autonomy support, feedback choices, observational models, and practice volume. The lab’s research also covers mental practice and fundamental motor skill development in children. Over the years, LaCOM has gained international recognition as one of the leading research centers in its field, producing highly cited publications.
