NEW LATIN AMERICAN ECONOMIC HISTORY NETWORK

The new task force on economic history will hold its first seminar on the 9th of November, the day before the LACEA meetings, also in EAFIT, Medellin.
The theme of this seminar is balance of payments and financial crises, their management and their implications for development policies. Please send proposed papers toocampo.joseantonio@yahoo.com. Papers can be written in Spanish, Portuguese or English. The deadline for submission is July 15, 2016.
A meeting will be held at the end of the day on organization of the network, with those willing to participate in them.
The Network will offer partial funding for travel expenses (hotel and airfare) for those participants who are not able to obtain full financial support from their institutions or other sources. The conference maximum allowance will be of US$250 per participant. If authors require financial support, they should so indicate when submitting their paper.
