About

The Fifteenth edition of the Workshop in Complexity of Water, Life and Climate Changes will take place November 14–16, 2025, at Universidade Federal de Pelotas (UFPel), Pelotas, Brazil. The workshop bridges scales—from molecules to the Earth system—linking fundamental advances in water and soft/biological matter to pressing environmental and societal challenges. It is a forum to strengthen ongoing collaborations and spark new ones across physics, chemistry, materials science, biology, environmental science, and climate research.

A special emphasis is placed on molecular simulation, theory, and advanced characterization of aqueous systems and nanostructured materials, as well as their roles in environmental quality, climate resilience, and future food and water security. The program will feature invited and contributed talks, posters, and roundtable discussions, welcoming students and early-career researchers.
