Mariana Cavalcanti Nascimento

Master's student in the Postgraduate Program in Biotechnology (PPGB - CAPES 7) at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), working in the Structural Genomics Laboratory of the Center for Technological Development (CDTec/UFPel), where she also developed her scientific initiation as a PIBIC/CNPq scholarship holder. She has experience in the areas of Epigenetics, Structural and Functional Genomics, Animal Transgenesis, and Translational Models. She integrates research projects focused on the development of diagnostic tools and analysis of epigenetic biomarkers. A graduate in Biotechnology from UFPel, she also actively participated in extension and teaching projects, in addition to contributing as a Student Representative of the Academic Board of the Biotechnology course, strengthening student representation and promoting the improvement of the academic environment. Currently, she continues to collaborate with the extension project "@genestrut", where she assists in managing the laboratory's social networks.
