
Lucas Petitemberte de Souza
Biologist (CRBio: 118743/03-D), Bachelor's (2020) and Licentiate (2021) degrees in Biological Sciences from the Lutheran University of Brazil and Master's degree in Sciences (2023), with a concentration in Biotechnology, from the Federal University of Pelotas (CAPES 7). Currently, a PhD scholarship holder carrying out activities at the Structural Genomics Laboratory and working mainly with sperm microRNAs as markers of animal (re)production. Brief know-how in various research lines related to: molecular markers and gene expression; active methodologies in physiology teaching; inflammation and physiology; oxidative stress and antioxidants; genotoxicity and cytotoxicity; and antimutagenesis. With experience in activities such as: methylation and genotyping analyses by microarray, molecular diagnostics by PCRs; water quality tests; analysis of biochemical/enzymatic parameters; animal experimentation and animal facilities; In addition to the SMART bioassays, the Micronucleus Test and Comet assay.
