Hadassa Gabriela Ortiz

PhD candidate and Master's degree holder in Biotechnology from the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel). She has experience in data science, artificial intelligence, biostatistics, epigenetics, and structural genomics. She worked as a PIBIT-CNPq scholarship recipient, developing research with an emphasis on epigenetics, structural genomics, functional genomics, and animal transgenesis, and was a member of the Structural Genomics Laboratory at the Center for Technological Development (CDTec) - UFPel, under the guidance of Professor Dr. Vinicius Farias Campos. She holds a Technical degree in Chemistry from the Liberato Foundation (FETLSVC) and completed an internship at the Laboratory of Fungi of Medical and Biotechnological Importance at the Center for Biotechnology (CBiot) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), collaborating on research on Cryptococcus spp. biofilms under the guidance of Professor Dr. Marilene Henning Vainstein.
