
Olenka Rocha Paiva
Master's student in the Postgraduate Program in Veterinary Medicine at the Federal University of Pelotas (PPGV-UFPel) under the guidance of Prof. Tony Leandro Rezende da Silveira. She has international experience at the National Institute of Agricultural Research (INIA - La Estanzuela, UY) in a curricular internship supervised by Prof. Rafael Gianella Mondadori and co-supervised by Researcher Gustavo Desire Antunes Gastal, with an emphasis on reproductive efficiency. She holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Pelotas - UFPel. She was a recipient of a scientific initiation scholarship (FAPERGS and CNPq) at the Teaching, Research and Extension Center in Physiopathology and Biotechniques of Animal Reproduction - FiBRA, under the guidance of Prof. Thomaz Lúcia Jr. and Prof. Rafael Gianella Mondadori. She has experience in the field of Veterinary Medicine, with an emphasis on Animal Reproduction, mainly working on the following topics: Biotechnology and physiopathology of reproduction, AI (Artificial Insemination), andrological examinations, in vitro oocyte production, ultrasound for pregnancy diagnosis, reproductive health, and estrous cycle definition.
