Lucas Marques VieiraE-mail: lucasmvieira1@outlook.com Born in the city of Dom Pedrito, RS, Lucas has always had contact with rice and soybean crops. He has been an Agronomy student at the Federal University of Pelotas since 2016, and in November of the same year he started working as a volunteer at the Herbicide Fate Laboratory. He is carrying out his final undergraduate project under the guidance of Prof. Edinalvo Rabaioli Camargo, with the objective of evaluating the effects of the simulated drift applications of Quizalofop-P-ethyl (Targa 50 EC) and Propaquizafop (Acert) on the irrigated rice culture susceptible to acetyl coenzyme A carboxylase (ACCase) inhibiting herbicides. His main hobbies are the practice of Brazilian jiu jitsu and cooking. |

Andrine Krumreich BohlkeE-mail: andrinebohlke25@gmail.com Andrine has been part of CEHERB since 2018, has a PIBIC-Af / CNPq scholarship, advised by Profº Luis Antonio de Avila, and is working with the accelerated degradation of S-metolachlor, in filter bands with historical application of this herbicide. She is a native of Canguçu, RS, daughter of farmers, whom encouraged her to pursue the Agronomy major at the Federal University of Pelotas, and her interest in weed science took her to CEHERB, where she will soon develop her final undergraduate project. |

Lucas is working with the potential damage that Loyant’s volatility could cause in the soybean crop productivity. Lucas is a native of Pelotas, RS, joined the Faculty of Agronomy Eliseu Maciel in 2017 to study Agronomy. His connection with the countryside comes through his grandparents, who were farmers. |

Eduardo HellerE-mail: eduardok.heller@hotmail.com Eduardo has been part of CEHERB since July, 2019, has a scholarship from the Research Foundation of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (FAPERGS), guided by Prof. Edinalvo Rabaioli Camargo. Eduardo is investigating the use of plants in the mitigation of waters contaminated with pesticide residues, evaluating the removal capacity of the species Luziola peruviana Juss. and Sagittaria montevidensis Cham. & Schlecht when exposed to low concentrations of pesticides and to evaluate the mitigation potential of drainage ditches with plants. Born in the countryside of São Lourenço do Sul, RS, the son of farmers, since his childhood he has had contact with the countryside, especially with crops such as tobacco, corn, soybeans, rice and pastures, in 2016 he started the Agronomy major at the Federal University of Pelotas. His final undergraduate project seeks to evaluate the residual activity of imidazolinones and glyphosate drift in the interaction Meloidogyne graminicola and irrigated rice under the guidance of Profº Luis Antonio de Avila. He also had experiences as a fellow at Embrapa Clima Temperado in the area of Phytopathology and in the Soil Department of the Faculty of Agronomy Eliseu Maciel in the area of Soil Fertility. |
