Northeastern Fairs at ReBECCa’s Meetings
Continuing the Geographical Tertúlias event, on Tuesday 22/05/07, professor Luís Antônio Gonçalves will present the theme “The Metamorphosis of the Fair: The Insertion of Popular Clothing”. It is a great opportunity to learn about the history of fairs in the Northeast of Brazil and all the transformations that the most traditional manifestations of this type of commerce are going through. Professor Luís works at the State University of Vale do Acaraú, in Sobral, Ceará, and is a member of ReBECCa.
