Graduated in Chemistry Degree (2010), Master (2013) and Ph.D. in Chemistry (2017) from the Federal University of Pelotas. During his training, he was dedicated to the extraction and chemical characterization of essential oils, obtaining semi-synthetic derivatives and heterocyclic compounds functionalized with an organochalcogen group, and the pre-clinical study of organic molecules with important antioxidant activity in animal models (nociception and inflammation). She is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Center for Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Food Sciences (CCQFA) at the Federal University of Pelotas and a member of the Clean Organic Synthesis Laboratory Research Group (LASOL). She develops projects with an emphasis on Organic Chemistry, related to the extraction, chemical characterization and chemical modification of essential oils, synthesis of organochalcogen compounds and evaluation of the possible biological potential of these substrates.
