On September 30, 2019, the Friendly Guidelines and Recommendations were released for the aging city in Edinburgh – UK. The exhibition featured a series of guidelines and recommendations for policies and practices aimed at age-friendly cities.
The exhibition contains contributions from local residents about their life experiences in different urban contexts in the UK. We collected and analyzed this data at the neighborhood level and produced a set of recommendations at national level to guide aging policies and practices in the UK.
The exhibition at the Edinburgh City Council opened from 1 pm to 5 pm. The exhibition can also be seen until October 14th at the Edinburgh Central Library (7-9 George IV Bridge, EdinburghEH1 1EG).
