First Healthy Cities Research Mission takes two researchers to EDRA50 Brooklyn Conference

The Centre for Healthy Cities, Ageing and Citizenship funded two researchers – Professor Nirce Saffer Medvedoski and Research Associate Sirlene de Melo Sopeña, to a Mission to EDRA50 Brooklyn Conference. The event aimed to share belief in shaping urban design and changing environmental behaviour at the global scale. The conference offered one-of-a-kind networking opportunities and educational seminars tailored exclusively for those in the environmental design field. Both researchers presented authored papers at the Conference, in New York.

The Research Mission was from 21 to 30/05/2019 and also comprised of the annual research meeting of the PlaceAge Project.

Professors Adriana Portella, Celina Britto Corrêa, and Sinval Xavier also went to the Research Mission which for them was funded by the PlaceAge Project.
