Is an adjunct Professor at the “Center of Letters and Communication (CLC)” at the ‘Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel)’. Has a full degree in Languages Portuguese/French from the ‘Federal University of Pelotas’. Also has a degree in Art Education – Full Degree – Qualification in Music from UFPel. Has a Master’s degree in Science in the Graduate Course in Education of UFPel. She received her Doctorate in Sciences from the Graduate Course in Education (UFPel). Works mainly on the following topic: writing acquisition (segmentation of words in the text) and its relation with prosodic phonology.

Gilsenira de Alcino Rangel
Is an adjunct Professor at the ‘Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel)’, at the Faculty of Education. Tutor of the PET/Educação Group (Programa de Educação Tutorial/MEC/SESU) since 11/20/2009. Has a degree in Languages from the ‘Federal University of Pelotas’ (1995), a Master’s degree in Linguistics and Languages from the ‘Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS)’ (1998), and a Doctorate in Linguistics and Languages also from the ‘Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul’ (2002). Has experience in the area of Education, working mainly on the following topics: writing, acquisition, special needs, inclusion, and teaching.

Is an adjunct Professor at the ‘Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel)’. Works in the Graduate Program in Languages. Giovana Ferreira-Gonçalves (referred to as Giovana Bonilha until the end of 2007) received her Doctorate in Linguistics and Languages from the ‘Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul’. Coordinates research projects in the field of Linguistics, with an emphasis on Theory and Linguistic Analysis – Theory of Optimity – and Phonological Acquisition.

Mirian Rose Brum-de-Paula
Is an adjunct Professor at the ‘Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel)’. She works in the Undergraduate and Graduate Programs in Languages. She is the leader of the “Grupo de Pesquisa Emergência da Linguagem Oral – ELO“. She has a degree in Languages Portuguese/French (Federal University of Santa Maria – 1987), Maîtrise de Français Langue Etrangère (Université de Franche Comté – 1989), Specialization in Formation of Formateurs (Center d’Études Pédagogiques de Sèvres – 1991), Master’s degree in Linguistique-Sémiotique-Communication (Université de Franche Comté – 1990) and Doctorate in Sciences du Langage Linguistique et Phonétique (Université de Paris X-Nanterre – 1998). Has experience in Linguistics, with an emphasis on Language Acquisition (L1 and L2), working mainly on the following themes: acquisition of morphological temporality, speech, and cognition.
