Master’s and Doctorate from the Postgraduate Program in Chemistry at UFRGS (PPGQ-UFRGS), with a sandwich doctorate period at the University of Rennes I (France). He completed a post-doctoral internship in Chemistry, in the Molecular Catalysis group, at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and a post-doctoral internship in Biosciences at the Toxicological Genetics Laboratory at the Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre ( UFCSPA). She has experience in the areas of catalysis, medicinal inorganic chemistry and toxicological genetics. She worked on the planning, synthesis and characterization of catalytic precursors applied to ethylene oligo-polymerization, biopolymers, polymeric nanocomposites, screening and toxicological evaluation of drug candidates. She has experience in work involving interdisciplinary teams with professionals from the areas of chemistry, biology, biochemistry, biotechnology and pharmacy. Develops work in the area of medicinal bioinorganics, with the planning, synthesis, characterization of new coordination and organometallic compounds, stability studies in solution, interaction of organic and inorganic compounds with biomolecules, investigation of their pharmacological potential and damage to DNA. Interest in the use of metal complexes in different areas of medicine and biological chemistry.
