Atrav\u00e9s do projeto Capes\/Print, ela <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">esteve na Universidade St. John\u2019s University. A visita estava sendo preparada h\u00e1 algum tempo e <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">era uma das atividades da pauta do Observat\u00f3rio Global de Patologias Sociais da UFPel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">A agenda de trabalho incluiu atividades relacionadas \u00e0 educa\u00e7\u00e3o especial, com foco na inclus\u00e3o <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">escolar de estudantes com transtorno do espectro de autismo. O ponto especial diz respeito a <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">pr\u00e1ticas educativas de transtornos no Plano Educacional Individualizado (PEI).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Durante a miss\u00e3o, foram realizadas visitas a escolas de Nova York com o fim de observar <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">pr\u00e1ticas de co-teaching. A oportunidade serviu tamb\u00e9m para reuni\u00f5es com diretores, <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">professores e educadores especiais das escolas. O destaque foi a tutoria da professora Maria <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Paula Mello, do Departament of Education Specialties. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">De acordo com a professora Siglia, foi <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">uma oportunidade para \u201cfortalecer as parcerias de ensino e pesquisa\u201d.
