Each registrant\u00a0<\/span>may submit up to two abstracts as one of the author (the registrant do not have to be the first author of the abstract) <\/span>until September 15th, 2019<\/strong>. Each registrant is responsible for the posters presentation.<\/span><\/p>\n

The abstracts\u00a0should be written\u00a0in English.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The abstracts\u00a0<\/span>will be compiled<\/span>\u00a0in the Proceedings of the XI\u00a0<\/span>Simp\u00f3sio<\/span>\u00a0de\u00a0<\/span>Ecologia<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>Gen\u00e9tica<\/span>\u00a0e\u00a0<\/span>Evolu\u00e7\u00e3o<\/span>\u00a0de\u00a0<\/span>Drosophila<\/span><\/i>, which will be available online.<\/span><\/p>\n

Formatting instruction for the abstracts<\/strong><\/p>\n

The abstracts <\/span><\/span>should be submitted<\/span><\/span> in the\u00a0 specified format availabe at\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Abstract_Sample<\/span><\/span><\/a> in Word (.doc or .docx) format.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Best study Award<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Each registrant will be able to apply one of the abstracts for the Best Study Award, as long as she\/he is the first author of the abstract. <\/span>During the <\/span>abstract\u00a0<\/span>submission, choose the\u00a0<\/span>category of your study, <\/span>Undergrad student or Grad student, and the subject area of the study <\/span>Ecology, <\/span>Genetics or\u00a0<\/span>Evol<\/span>ution<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The study evaluation <\/span>will be carried out<\/span> through analysis of the abstract, following the criteria of: text quality (grammar, spelling, accuracy and coherence); clear <\/span>d<\/span>elimitation of the studied problem<\/span>; c<\/span>larity of the\u202fobjectives<\/span>; <\/span>methodological suitability<\/span>; <\/span>\u00a0importance of\u202fthe results; r<\/span>elevance of the conclusions<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The winners (one undergrad\u202fand\u202fone graduate students) in each subject area (Ecology, Genetics, and Evolution) will give a talk (10 min + 5min for questions) at the morning of November 7th, 2019. The winner can choose the spoken language during the talk<\/span>, but the tet of the slides <\/span>should be in English for better integration of all XI SEGED participants.<\/span><\/p>\n
