The activities of the coordinations are provided for in the ReBECCa Statute:
Section II
From the Collegiate of Coordinators
Art. 17. The Collegiate of Coordinators is the administrative body of the Brazilian Network of Geographical Studies on Commerce and Consumption, ReBECCa, and will be constituted by the following coordinations:
I – General Coordination;
II – Assistant Coordination;
III – Event Coordination;
IV – Publications Coordination;
V – Digital Network Coordination;
VI – Affiliation Coordination.

Sole Paragraph – The Board of Coordinators will be elected by the ordinary general meeting, and may be reelected and will have a term of office of two (2) years.
Art. 18. The Collegiate of Coordinators will meet bimonthly, on a previously designated day, without prejudice to extraordinary meetings, which may be convened by the General Coordination, when deemed necessary. Meetings can be held remotely.
Sole Paragraph – The Collegiate of Coordinators may create as many departments as it deems necessary for the better functioning of the Brazilian Network of Geographical Studies on Commerce and Consumption, ReBECCa, as well as may designate members to integrate the existing coordinations in order to assist the respective coordinators.
Art. 19. The decisions of the Collegiate of Coordinators will be taken by an absolute majority of votes.
Art. 20. In decisions where there is a tie, the General Coordinator will have the casting vote.
Art. 21. Without prejudice to the responsibilities that fall to the other members of the Collegiate of Coordinators, in the exercise of their respective functions, the General Coordinator will be responsible for the administration and general orientation of the Brazilian Network of Geographical Studies on Commerce and Consumption, ReBECCa.
Art. 22. It is incumbent upon the General Coordinator:
I – convene and preside over general assemblies and Board meetings;
II – to manage the Brazilian Network of Geographical Studies on Commerce and Consumption, ReBECCa, to represent it actively and passively in court and extrajudicially;
III – sign correspondence addressed to the public and institutions;
IV – authorize the disclosure of administrative acts;
V – resolve omissions, of an urgent nature, providing for their inclusion in the internal rules.
Art. 23. It is incumbent upon the Deputy Coordination:
I – replace the General Coordinator in his absences and impediments, as well as assist him in the performance of his duties;
II – replace the General Coordinator when he is prevented, for a period of less than 30 (thirty days), without any other formality;

§ 1. When the General Coordinator obtains leave for a period exceeding 30 (thirty days), up to the permitted limit, the treasurer will be in charge of coordinating the Collegiate of Coordinators, having made the necessary communications to the higher entities;
§ 2. The Assistant Coordinator will be sworn in in the event of definitive impediment of the General Coordinator, an act duly approved by the Extraordinary General Meeting.
§ 3. Once the General Coordinator has been sworn in, he may appoint a new Deputy Coordinator.
Art. 24. It is incumbent upon the Event Coordination:
I – propose and hold, at least once every two years, a scientific and academic event of the Brazilian Network of Geographical Studies on Commerce and Consumption, ReBECCa;
II – support the organization of events organized by the members of the Brazilian Network of Geographical Studies on Commerce and Consumption, ReBECCa.
Sole Paragraph – The Events Coordinator may, with the approval of the College of Coordinators, create its own team to carry out its functions, establishing the roles to be performed by the chosen members.
Art. 25. It is incumbent upon the Publications Coordination:
I – publish, at least once a year, the Revista Brasileira de Estudos Geográficos Sobre Comércio e Consumo (Brazilian Journal of Geographical Studies on Commerce and Consumption), aimed at disseminating scientific works prepared by members of the network and others, through careful scientific selection;
II – organize the Scientific Committee and the Editorial Committee of the Brazilian Journal of Geographical Studies on Commerce and Consumption, which will define the criteria for submission, selection and publication;
III – create and manage the virtual environment to host the Brazilian Journal of Geographical Studies on Commerce and Consumption electronically;
IV – support other types of scientific publications in the context of the Brazilian Network of Geographical Studies on Commerce and Consumption, ReBECCa, with the aim of deepening studies on topics of interest to the members of the network.

Art. 26. It is incumbent upon the Digital Network Coordination:

I – organize an electronic virtual environment for the dissemination of information, activities and works of the Brazilian Network of Geographical Studies on Commerce and Consumption, ReBECCa, through an electronic page;
II – propose and create other electronic digital media to allow the sharing of data, information and publications;
III – manage the virtual environments of the Brazilian Network of Geographical Studies on Commerce and Consumption, ReBECCa, in order to support the actions of the other coordinations.
Sole Paragraph – The Digital Network Coordinator may, with the approval of the College of Coordinators, create its own team to carry out its functions, establishing the roles to be performed by the chosen members.
Art. 27. It is incumbent upon the Membership Coordination:
I – organize the registration of affiliated members in their respective categories and issue a membership certificate;
II – indicate to the General Assembly on the acceptance or not of the proposals forwarded for affiliation to the network;
III – encourage the expansion of the network’s membership, observing the criteria of adequacy of the proponent’s action with the objectives of the Brazilian Network of Geographical Studies on Trade and Consumption, ReBECCa.
IV – create its own regulation, with the approval of the General Assembly, containing the criteria for membership and disaffiliation.
