Foi criada em 8 de agosto de 1969. Ela tem mais de 20 mil estudantes que est\u00e3o matriculados em 96 cursos de gradua\u00e7\u00e3o presencial e cinco cursos a dist\u00e2ncia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">A Universidade est\u00e1 localizada nas cidades de Pelotas e Cap\u00e3o do Le\u00e3o.
