He obtained a Master\u00b4s degree working with Professor Fabio Augusto (Unicamp, 2008) in the field of Solid Phase Microextraction. His PhD thesis was obtained under the guidance of Professor Carlos Roque (Unicamp, 2013) working with palladium-catalyzed direct arylations employing aryldiazonium salts. He then moved to Porto Alegre as a post-doctoral fellow (Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, UFRGS), where he explored palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions. He was also a post-docotoral fellow at Pontif\u00edcia Universidade Cat\u00f3lica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), working with medicinal chemistry.
