O ministrante ser\u00e1 o doutorando Marcelo Schramm, do Programa de P\u00f3s-Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Engenharia Mec\u00e2nica da UFRGS. Abaixo segue um resumo do trabalho a ser apresentado.<\/p>\n<p>Contamos com a sua participa\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Abstract<\/p>\n<p>This talk presents a new solution for the multi-group neutron space kinetics model, with focus in nuclear reactor cores application. The model is solved locally by a polynomial approximation, properly positioned in the center of the local domain. Expanding the neutron scalar flux in a truncated Taylor series makes the computational implementation easy and \u201cclean\u201d, free from complicated computational evaluations, avoiding numeric under or over- flow. The domain\u2019s regions are segmented into few homogeneous elements, whose continuous solutions are bound one another by the interface conditions. The resulting linear system is closed by the boundary conditions and solved in two parts, global and local. The local solution is easily determined by Gauss\u2019 elimination, while the global solution is determined by the iterative numerical method of Gauss-Seidel. In all procedure the error calculation is a crucial factor of accuracy. The error is calculated using the differential equation as the major parameter. Three test cases are displayed for demonstration in the results chapter.
