Master’s Program

The Graduate Program in Philosophy, at the Master’s level, in the Concentration Area of Ethics and Political Philosophy, is organized as an integrated set of courses to enhance the student’s already acquired knowledge and allow for the development of studies and research according to the research lines defined by the Program: Conceptions of Virtue; Foundation and Critique of Morality; Law, Society, and the State; and Moral Epistemology. The completion of the course requires the fulfillment of 20 (twenty) credits for the Master’s degree. The qualification for the Master’s degree is conducted by the end of the third semester of the course. The maximum time for completion is 24 months, which can be extended, in exceptional cases, by an additional 6 months.
