Do all the courses offer the same credit amount?<\/strong>
\nNo. There are courses that have 1 (one), 2 (two), 3 (three) and or 4 (four) credits.<\/p>\n

What is the Transfer Evaluation Index (TEI) or Performance Coefficient?<\/strong>
\nThe TEI or Performance Coefficient is an indicator of performance or achievement of the Graduate in program.<\/p>\n

How is the TEI or Performance Coefficient calculated?<\/strong>
\nIt is an average of the concepts obtained in each course. Concept A scores 4; concept B scores 3; concept C scores 2 and concept D scores 0. This average is measured by the number of credits in the course. Check the example below to see a student’s performance in the courses listed<\/p>\n

The TEI calculation is given as shown below:
\nTEI = 26 \/ 9 = 2,89
\nThe Teaching Internship and Thesis Elaboration courses are not included in the TEI calculation. In the same way courses with the concepts I, S, N, J, T or P are not included in the TEI calculation.<\/p>\n

Where will the TEI and Performance Coefficiwil be used?<\/strong>
\nIt will be used to set the student’s permanence conditions in the program. In this way, the graduate will be excluded from program.
\n– TEI is less than 2.0 at the end of the first semester.
\n– TEI is less than 2.5 at the end of the second semester.
\n– TEI is less than 3.0 at the end of the third semester or following semesters.
