The program maintains partnerships with excellence institutions worldwide, fostering academic mobility and the realization of joint projects that impact research and the productive sector.<\/p>\n<p><strong>International Agreements and Academic Mobility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>PPGCEM has established international cotutelle agreements with institutions such as the\u00a0<strong>Universit\u00e9 de Poitiers (France)<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0<strong>Universidad del Pa\u00eds Vasco (Spain)<\/strong>, enabling dual degrees for doctoral students and consolidating scientific collaboration networks. This participation strengthens the program&#8217;s visibility on the global stage and expands its network of scientific collaborations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Startups Founded by PPGCEM Alumni and Students<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>PPGCEM has encouraged entrepreneurship and innovation through the creation and development of startups founded by its alumni and students, strengthening technology transfer and driving the impact of research in the productive sector. Some notable startups include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>I9MAT INOVA\u00c7\u00d5ES EM NANOTECNOLOGIA LTDA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 focuses on nanotechnology-based solutions for industrial and environmental applications.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Vert Genese<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 a startup dedicated to sustainable technologies and material innovation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>REVEMARK<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 incubated at the Technological Park of the Catholic University of Pelotas, develops fingerprint developers and substances for drug detection. It was founded by Dr. Bruno Rosa Nunes and Dr. Ta\u00eds Poletti, both PPGCEM alumni.<\/li>\n<li><strong>CHROMAANALYTICA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 created by doctoral student Danielle Tapia Bueno and postdoctoral researcher Daisa, the startup operates in the field of chemical analysis and technological innovation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These companies demonstrate PPGCEM&#8217;s ability to train entrepreneurial researchers and generate real societal impact through innovation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scientific Events and International Cooperation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>PPGCEM plays an active role in organizing and participating in global scientific events, strengthening its international presence. A highlight was its participation in the\u00a0<strong>II Encuentro de Investigadores en Ciencia de Materiales (Uruguay)<\/strong>, where the program had the largest Brazilian delegation, and its students were awarded for innovative work.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the program regularly hosts visiting professors from various countries, such as\u00a0<strong>China<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Finland<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Mexico<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Pakistan<\/strong>, promoting scientific exchange and academic diversity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Commitment to Internationalization<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>PPGCEM&#8217;s internationalization reflects its commitment to academic excellence and global collaboration.
