SELECTION OF REGULAR STUDENTS – 1ST SEMESTER/2019
The Federal University of Pelotas in accordance with the stricto sensu guidelines of the Dean’s Office of Research and Post-graduate Degrees (PrPPGI) and the Coordination of the Post-graduate Program in Biotechnology publish, for interested parties, the process of candidate selection of said program, according to the terms described in this announcement.
I – REGISTRATION
Applications for the Selection Examination for the UFPel Biotechnology Post-graduate Program will be open from October 1, 2018 to November 1, 2018, only e-mail applications will be accepted.
The registration documents should be sent to the Program secretary exclusively by e-mail, by e-mail: ppgbiotec2019@gmail.com. The deadline for sending the documents will be until 23:59 (twenty-three and fifty-nine minutes), Brasília time, from the date described above, registrations sent after this time will not be accepted.
Candidates resident outside Brazil, in case it is impossible to perform the selection exam in person, must contact the PPGB secretary (e-mail: ppgbiotec2019@gmail.com) during the registration period to organise where they will do the exam. Selection processes held outside the country should occur simultaneously on December 5, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., Brasília time. The exam will be accompanied by videoconference (e.g. Skype) under the supervision of a Professor appointed by the PPGB evaluation committee.
For candidates who will take the exam outside Brazil, the Curriculum Vitae evaluation available at (http://wp.ufpel.edu.br/ppgbiotec/process-seletivo/), duly completed and documented, should be scanned and sent in .pdf format to the e-mail ppgbiotec2019@gmail.com by 14h (Brasília time) on the 5th of December 2018, or sent by mail (Sedex), provided that the documents are delivered by the 5thof December 2018. Documents delivered after this date will not be accepted. The candidate must notify the PPGBiotechnology secretary via e-mail: ppgbiotec2019@gmail.com of their intention to send the documentation by courier, provide a tracking number for the shipment, indicate their supervisor and program level (Master’s/Doctorate).
