Professor do Instituto de Ciencias Polares, Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (ICPA) da Universidad Nacional de Tierra del Fuego (UNTDF). Membro do Comit\u00e9 Ejecutivo Internacional do Comit\u00e9 Permanente en Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades, integrante da SCAR (Comit\u00e9 Cient\u00edfico de Investigaciones Ant\u00e1rticas). Membro da Comisi\u00f3n Directiva del Consejo Federal de Estudios Internacionales (CoFEI). Publicou o livro <em>Latin America in Times of Global Environmental Change<\/em> (2020), e foi coeditor de um n\u00famero especial sobre Am\u00e9rica Latina y Ant\u00e1rtida na <em>Revista The Polar Journal<\/em>. Dirigiu o projeto \u201cLa pol\u00edtica del Reino Unido hacia la Ant\u00e1rtida, 2002-2019\u201d, financiado pela UNTDF, por dois anos. No \u00e2mbito da SCAR, organizou a confer\u00eancia internacional \u201cAntarctic connections at the End of the World.
