Desde 2007 \u00e9 L\u00edder do Grupo de Pesquisa &#8216;Percursos Po\u00e9ticos: procedimentos e grafias na contemporaneidade&#8217; (CNPq\/UFPel). Possui Bacharelado em Artes Pl\u00e1sticas: habilita\u00e7\u00e3o Desenho (UFRGS, 1979-1983); Mestrado em Artes Visuais (UFRGS, 1993-1995); Doutorado em Educa\u00e7\u00e3o (UFRGS, 2001-2005, bolsa CAPES); Est\u00e1gio de pesquisa na Universidade de Barcelona, Espanha, na \u00e1rea de Gravura (2004-2005, Bolsa CAPES); P\u00f3s-doutorado S\u00eanior (Bolsa PDJ\/CNPq) no PPG em Ci\u00eancias Farmac\u00eauticas da Faculdade de Farm\u00e1cia da UFRGS (2018), com pesquisa interdisciplinar em nanotecnologia para a caracteriza\u00e7\u00e3o e fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o de materiais alternativos n\u00e3o-t\u00f3xicos para a gravura. A tese de doutorado &#8216;Pontos de Passagem: o tempo no processo de cria\u00e7\u00e3o&#8217; trata da percep\u00e7\u00e3o do tempo a partir da sua experi\u00eancia como artista no atelier de gravura, e como professora no atelier de gravura da universidade. A disserta\u00e7\u00e3o de mestrado comenta as &#8216;Sincronias de espa\u00e7o e tempo: a simultaneidade e a sobreposi\u00e7\u00e3o na gravura em metal&#8217;. Atualmente desenvolve pesquisas te\u00f3rico-pr\u00e1ticas com \u00eanfase na cria\u00e7\u00e3o de artefatos art\u00edsticos interativos em projetos multidisciplinares com artistas e engenheiros eletr\u00f4nicos, em contextos de cria\u00e7\u00e3o coletiva e colaborativa. Trabalha com desenho e gravura; arte e tecnologia, cria\u00e7\u00e3o de amplificadores e produ\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1udios; processos alternativos n\u00e3o-t\u00f3xicos usados tanto na gravura art\u00edstica como nas grava\u00e7\u00f5es de placas de circuito impresso; e tamb\u00e9m estuda a percep\u00e7\u00e3o do tempo nos processos de cria\u00e7\u00e3o. Desde 1982, realiza exposi\u00e7\u00f5es individuais e coletivas com trabalhos em Desenho e Gravura. Realizou exposi\u00e7\u00f5es internacionais como: &#8216;XII International Print Biennial&#8217;, Bulg\u00e1ria; &#8216;Sztuka Ameryki Poludniowej&#8217;, Pol\u00f4nia; &#8216;Panorama Brasilianischer Kunst&#8217;, Alemanha, &#8216;Arte Latinoamericana&#8217;, B\u00e9lgica. Recebeu Men\u00e7\u00e3o Especial do juri no pr\u00eamio A\u00e7oriano de Teatro pelo cen\u00e1rio e figurinos da pe\u00e7a &#8216;Marcos IV, 23&#8217; (Prefeitura de Porto Alegre, 1983); VII pr\u00eamio de gravura no XII Sal\u00e3o do Jovem Artista (1985); e Men\u00e7\u00e3o Honrosa no I Pr\u00eamio Sonilton Alves (1995). Em 2010-2011, idealizou e coordenou o projeto para cria\u00e7\u00e3o do Mestrado em Artes Visuais da UFPel, e, de 2012 a 2017, coordenou o Programa de P\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Artes Visuais da UFPel. Em 2017-2018, foi representante titular eleita da \u00e1rea de Letras e Artes no COCEPE (Conselho de Ensino, Pesquisa e Extens\u00e3o) da UFPel. Coordenou a C\u00e2mara de Pesquisa e P\u00f3s-Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o do Centro de Artes da UFPel (2011-2013); e foi Chefe do Departamento de Artes Visuais da UFPel (2008-2011). Foi professora de artes em Escolas de Ensino Fundamental em Porto Alegre (1985-1992). Realizou curso de gravura n\u00e3o-t\u00f3xica com Henrik Boegh, Dinamarca, 2005; resid\u00eancia art\u00edstica no Atelier de Torben Bo Halbirk, Paris, 1998; curso de Gravura em Metal com Torben Halbirk e Stanislav Mariyanovic, no Atelier de Matilde Marin, Buenos Aires, 1997; curso de Arte no Atelier Livre de Paris, Fran\u00e7a, 1977; e diversos cursos de Desenho e Gravura no pa\u00eds, desde 1983.
