Vamos apresentar as principais propriedades dos materiais em escala nanometrica. Principais m\u00e9todos de s\u00edntese de nanopart\u00edculas dando destaque a fito-s\u00edntese nanopart\u00edculas de met\u00e1licas a partir de extratos de plantas. Os extratos de plantas possuem uma rica e complexa quantidades de subst\u00e2ncias antioxidante, que atuam como agentes redutores e capeadores para a convers\u00e3o do nitrato de prata em AgNPs. O m\u00e9todo fito-s\u00edntese \u00e9 considerado uma t\u00e9cnica ecologicamente limpa, n\u00e3o-t\u00f3xica e ambientalmente aceit\u00e1vel. Muitos extratos de plantas podem ser utilizados diretamente na s\u00edntese de nanopart\u00edculas met\u00e1licas com diferentes efici\u00eancias, tamanhos e formas de nanopart\u00edculas.
