Pensando nisso, o Programa de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o Tutorial de Engenharia Agr\u00edcola (PET-EA) da Universidade Federal de Pelotas (UFPel) desenvolveu o Programa de Acompanhamento de Ingressantes (PAI). O projeto tem como objetivo principal facilitar a adapta\u00e7\u00e3o acad\u00eamica e social dos novos estudantes, criando um ambiente acolhedor que promove a perman\u00eancia e reduz os \u00edndices de evas\u00e3o no curso.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Para alcan\u00e7ar esse objetivo, o PAI combina a\u00e7\u00f5es de acolhimento com ferramentas de diagn\u00f3stico e apoio pr\u00e1tico. As atividades come\u00e7aram j\u00e1 no primeiro dia de aula, com uma recep\u00e7\u00e3o para os calouros, realizada com o aux\u00edlio de professores do curso. Nas primeiras semanas, o grupo PET realizou uma apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o detalhada para a turma, explicando o que \u00e9 o programa, suas atribui\u00e7\u00f5es e divulgando outros projetos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Paralelamente ao acolhimento, o grupo aplicou um primeiro question\u00e1rio ao final da apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o inicial, que obteve 34 respostas. Para garantir um canal de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e1gil, foi criado um grupo de WhatsApp exclusivo para a turma, focado em tirar d\u00favidas iniciais. Atrav\u00e9s dele, foi distribu\u00eddo o &#8220;Manual do Ingressante&#8221;, que re\u00fane informa\u00e7\u00f5es essenciais como locais de aula, hor\u00e1rios de \u00f4nibus e localiza\u00e7\u00e3o das paradas.
